1. The wood for our superstructures comes from managed sustainable forests, some are on a 300 year harvest cycle. Wood building materials are virtually zero carbon to produce. Wood buildings lock in carbon for their life. Modern processes enable us to use the whole tree for construction.

2. Our foundation systems are very efficient, they can be recycled, adapted and relocated and will have a 100+ year life span.

3. Our homes are fully workshop built which is very efficient and minimises waste to less than 10% of normal house construction waste.

4. We use local craftsmen to build our homes, so less travel miles and money stays in the local area.

5. The homes are highly insulated requiring minimum energy input.

6. The homes sit lightly in the environment and do not require a concrete and tarmac infrastructure.

7. They can be located with minimum disruption to local eco systems.

8. Ultimately the homes are designed so they can easily altered, adapted and relocated, extending their useful life.

9. Our efficient designs deliver more useable space, a more productive construction process.

10. We use long life materials during construction aiming for minimum maintenance over the life of the building.
